 Mavericks fans have waited along time for this. A franchise once voted the worst in sports by Sports Illustrated is now on the cusp of immortality and for those Mavs fans that have followed the team throughout their 26 years in the NBA the ride couldn’t be any sweeter. They say that in order to understand where you are going you have to know where you have been so on the eve of Game 1 of the 2006 NBA Finals here’s a list of remembrance (some good others bad) for those diehard Mavs fans.
